Introducing Architecture As Art

The Architecture as Art Group of the St. Louis Artists' Guild is a recent revitalized section now Chaired by Howard Glickman who has resided in Saint Louis since 1970. The Section is a grouping of individuals of varying professions and endeavors that have come together to take thread to fabric for the appreciation of Architecture.

In addition, the Architecture as Art Group is open to all Artists’ Guild members and features demonstrations, lectures, social events and opportunities to meet and visit with others who are in the architectural field or associated with it in some way or another

Whether our section members are Architects, Musicians, Real Estate Developers, Historians, Carpenters, Students, Journalists, Retirees, Marketers, Interior Decorators or Educators... their mutual concern is to enrich community awareness and encourage others to partake on a virtual tour of Architecture history to our current lifestyle.

Architecture as Art Mission: To educate and offer experiences to the community about the wealth of outstanding, important and historic architecture in the region. The Group targets history, art and architecture enthusiasts as well as those who wish to learn about the rich architecture of the St. Louis area and beyond.

The group meets Second Mondays at 6:30p.m. at the St. Louis Artists Guild in Clayton. For
